David Keller, MD, Chair
David Keller, MD, joined the faculty of the University of Colorado School of Medicine and Children’s Hospital Colorado as a Visiting Professor and Vice Chair for Clinical Affairs and Clinical Transformation of the Depart of Pediatrics on October 1, 2013. Prior to joining Commonwealth Medicine, Dr. Keller was Medical Director of South County Pediatrics, a community-based teaching practice and “Medical Home” for children with special health care needs. He has extensive experience in addressing the social determinants of health, child advocacy, and mental health integration at the practice and the population levels, and has published and presented work at national and international meetings, as well as peer-reviewed journals and monographs. He served as Project co-Director of the Rhode Island Chronic Care Sustainability Initiative (an all-payer medical home transformation project), faculty of the Massachusetts Patient-Centered Medical Home Initiative’s Learning Collaborative and team lead for the evaluation of the Massachusetts CHIPRA Quality Measure Project. He was a District CATCH Facilitator for the American Academy of Pediatrics CATCH program from 2004 to 2009 and is currently working on the Community Pediatrics Training Initiative, an effort to develop new curricula linking pediatric practice to community service. He served as a Robert Wood Johnson Health Policy Fellow in the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Planning and Evaluation at the Department of Health and Human Services in 2010 and President of the Academic Pediatric Association.
R. Franklin Trimm, MD, Secretary/Treasurer
R F. Trimm, MD is a practicing Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrician in Mobile, AL. Dr. Trimm graduated from Loma Linda University School of Medicine in 1981 and has been in practice for 34 years. He completed a residency at Loma Linda University Medical Center. Dr. Trimm also specializes in Pediatrics. He currently practices at USA Health Services Pediatrics and is affiliated with Jackson Medical Center, Mobile Infirmary Medical Center and Springhill Medical Center. He represents the Association of Pediatric Program Directors.
